What's Up World!
Atlanta Hawks Up For Quick Sale
Mayor Kasim Reed has been alerted from potential buyers for the purchase of the Hawks. The City of Atlanta is prepared to offer a nice financial contribution to make the deal a success.
Racially charged comments in an email sent by one of the current owner's of the Atlanta Hawks, Bruce Levenson, sparked a media frenzy. Levenson comments prompted the call for him to sale his portion of the NBA franchise. Cleaning house from the top to maintain the proper image for the maximum support of the Hawks fan base and sponsors is imperative. Boldly insinuating that African-Americans fans are responsible for suburban whites not attending NBA games is unethical.
Just weeks away from the start of Hawks training camp the focus has shifted to who would now be the potential new owner of the Atlanta Hawks. Mayor Kasim Reed is aggressively taking charge in making sure that the new owners have the best interest in keeping the Hawks inside the City of Atlanta. Mayor Reed has stepped into action using his political influence to help negotiate the new sale of the Hawks. The process of being vetted for the new owners by the NBA will have to be swift. There are at least six prospective buyers on the table one being former Atlanta Hawks players Dominique Wilkins. The City of Atlanta is likely to offer new owners concessions in return for the Hawks remaining in Atlanta for at least 30 more years. $150 million could be added to the cities budget very soon from the sale of Turner Field. With the grown breaking ceremony of the new Braves (MLB) stadium in Cobb County just less than a week ago the reality is that it would be in the city best interest to make sure we did not loose another professional sports team. The Braves new stadium complex is set open for their 2017 season. Revenue from professional sporting events pump millions of dollars into the local economy yearly. As the clock runs down for the Atlanta Braves to leave the city limits that revenue from the team will be no more. There are a lot a changes taking place in Atlanta. We will just to have to wait to any see what's next....

The Evolution of Atlanta
"The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive transportation and economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs currently underway in the United States. The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other."
As the population and business sector grows in Metropolitan Atlanta it is only right that a project of this magnitude arise. Adding this modern masterpiece to a city that is clearly the "Capital of the South" is highly anticipated. Offering a rail system, walking trail, green-space and community art will definitely make this project one of the cities biggest attractions. Being able to navigate the city will become that much easier after the completion of the system. Linking the system to existing transit system and Atlanta street car project will gladly get some commuters out of their cars. We all know how bad Atlanta traffic has gotten over the years. Having this evolutionary transformation in the city will indeed change our way of life forever. Being able to easily get to and from work, events, doctor appointments, and the grocery store without worrying about the person driving in front of you slamming on their brakes will add peace of mind to locals and visitors alike."In December 2013, the Atlanta BeltLine began adopted the 2030 Strategic Implementation Plan to guide the project’s development over the next 17 years."
The SIP divides implementation into three periods of projects. For the next five years, Period 1, the SIP includes the following project priorities:
- Securing rights to the remaining right-of-way to complete the 22-mile Atlanta BeltLine loop;
- Completing the southern half of the Westside Trail and commencing construction on the Southeast Trail;
- Constructing Boulevard Crossing Phase II, Enota and Murphy Crossing Parks;
- Initiating the first phase of Westside Reservoir Park including the passive-use park space; and
- Constructing streetcar/light-rail transit on the East and West sides of the Atlanta BeltLine.
Peters discusses partnerships, announces East Point improvements to southside realtors

EAST POINT-Despite negativity and rumors, things are moving forward and going ahead for the city, Mayor Jannquell Peters told the Keller Williams Realty Governmental Affairs committee on Tuesday.
“We want to make your job easier by being a community partner. We are here to give you the most reliable information about the City of East Point,” she said. “We are improving our tax base by making it easier to do business here.”
Many have complained about the state of affairs among the city council, high utility rates and the overall negative perception of the city over the years. Peters told the audience that the city is working on problems but there is much positivity to report in the midst of the perception. Recently, the city was named the Most Dangerous Suburb in America. A later Home Rule News (HRN) investigation disputed many of the claims as crime has increase and decreased in various areas.
“One issue that we have here is misinformation and how some media tend to take things out of proportion to make a story,” she said. “There are many things we have done that largely go unreported in the news.”
She mentioned the development occurring along with relationships in the Tri-Cities and South Fulton areas.

Relation - Ship
Means what to you?
So it started off great, feeling like a new toy and a new breath of life- or it started off spontaneous, exciting, renewing and adventurous?
I'm sure we all have had that feeling of excitement once we've met someone that sparks our interest in many ways. Sometimes this feeling or thought as it may be usually either leads us to explore or take action towards the feeling. In some cases in exploring we discover relations with each other spiralling our feelings in all directions based on the actions involved eventually creating a recognizable or subliminal bond. In this time of bonding we usually develop a sense of obligation rather both parties or one part both develop a sense of ownership.
In the case of starting the bond with only Relations i.e (Sexual, Business, verbal etc.) usually gives us a upfront sense of who we are dealing with on the other side. When sexual relations are the header of building a bond between two, emotional feelings usually dictate the direction of the relations leaving logic at the smaller end of the stick. When Business relations are the header of the bond there is usually a sense of strong trust and obligation off top- also making the expectations high. Aside from those Verbal relations are usually simple and come as needed. In verbal relations usually both parties understand blatantly what's the core of the bond and live up to that daily. Although there are all sorts of relations as we know, relations stand as the connection point or bond of two. What are your relations today with the people you deal with constantly and even those you don't- Are they healthy?
With the understanding of your relations and bonds between you and another person there is always this one thing at least 80% of us skip and pay no attention to- Which is the Ship or support factor of our relations. Although the bond seems much similar to the ship it can be considered a different portion only detailing what the relations lead up to (Results). The ship in our relations usually have more holes than goals and structure being that most of our ships are built off of loose relations or no understanding of relations between the two. I'm more than sure we all have experienced a relation that may have lasted more than a year of excitement and we all can agree everything comes to an end. With that in mind, agreeing that the relation in action must benefit both parties maintaining happiness in order to build the ship. Your ship being any form of support factor that helps maintain your bond and relations cannot survive alone without healthy relations. Ever had a great idea or interest in a person but never reached out or maybe you have but it goes nowhere? I think we all can agree mainly the cause of those results could well be from lack of healthy relations.
Having being a victim of subliminal sexual relationships i think we all can come to agree that those usual direct us to truth in some of the most destroying ways- which can reconstruct the way most of us view things. There are some healthy sexual relations that grow to be of great benefit to the future of couples but very rare as sex pertains only to just a portion of a relationship in whole.
With these things in mind could you say that you can maintain your relations without a ship or your ship without relations?
