Giving back to aspiring artist is one thing, but creating your own lane simultaneously is almost unheard of. Brandon Thaxton has done just that. Thaxton is empowering those who believe in their talent and want to push through to the next level in self development of their natural skills. The mission of Acting Up LLC is to educate artist who aspire to be in the entertainment industry through talent development. Over the last decade or so we have watched Atlanta increase as backdrop of many box office hits which in return means the film and television industry has grown almost over night in the Metro Atlanta area. Skilled industry professionals are in high demand now more than ever in the history of the region.
Acting Up with Brandon Thaxton is not limited to a particular age group or background. Building relationships and developing entertainment skills such as acting, dancing, modeling and singing is essential for any artist success in the industry. Many of us are very talented we just lack encouragement, nurture, and constructive criticism. Brandon Thaxton is making sure our next generation has better opportunities. Sponsoring mock auditions such as Kids Connect is a prime example of his efforts. Kids Connet will take place @ 3181 Rainbow Dr. Decatur, GA 30034 Thursday July 31, 2014 from 5-7pm. Industry professionals will host a mock audition. The mock auditions will include a cold read with Director Brandon Thaxton. Be prepared so your talent can shine through. Parents are welcome to be there to offer there support and encouragement through observation. So make sure your little talented one is in the building. GET CONNECTED, a networking meeting, will follow immediately after the auditions in the lobby. Admission is $10 prior to entry into GET CONNECTED.
